Security Officer - Night Shift

About the role

As a Security Officer Screening Compliance in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery partners at a technology and logistics location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-screening requirements.
• Screen individuals, packages, and permitted items entering designated areas in accordance with site policies, escalating prohibited or suspicious items through established reporting procedures.
• Verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation before allowing access to controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and surrounding business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
