Security Officer - Night Shift

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Mount Vernon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document entries, exits, and unusual observations according to site requirements.
• Report hazards, suspicious activity, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.95 / Hour

Schedule

Full Time. DayTime: Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM.
