Security Officer - Morning Manufacturing Company Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer - Morning Manufacturing Company Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying credentials and/or following site access procedures for employees, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Report maintenance concerns, potential hazards, and/or policy violations observed during patrols, and assist with preliminary incident response in accordance with site protocols.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
