Security Officer - Mobile Patrols
About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Specialist in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, as conditions vary by site.
- Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity within the location.
- Support access control, closing procedures, and crowd management during busy business periods, special events, and/or after-hours operations as directed by site requirements.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
