Security Officer - Mobile Patrols

About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in various industries like Retail/Malls, you will be part of a dynamic, welcoming, and collaborative team contributing to positive community impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, as conditions vary by site.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity within the location.
• Support access control, closing procedures, and crowd management during busy business periods, special events, and/or after-hours operations as directed by site requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
