Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations observed during patrols or routine post duties.

Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
