Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observed incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
