What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observed activity according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including entrances, sales floor areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and communicate with store leadership, employees, and/or local responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Licensing Requirements
