Security Officer Mobile Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in La Fayette, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location protocols, helping to support authorized entry and orderly movement of personnel, contractors, and deliveries.
• Support security-related operations within a manufacturing and industrial location by communicating with site contacts, following post orders, and maintaining awareness of operational activity and restricted areas.

Requirements

• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
