As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs. Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access-control procedures, and adherence to facility guidelines.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.

Requirements

  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
