About the role
As a Patrol Officer at a government healthcare location in Ventura, CA, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to concerns. You will support employees, visitors, and the public through clear communication and exceptional customer service while bringing integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a people-first approach to every shift. A valid in-state driver’s license is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at government healthcare facilities.
- Respond to incidents, critical situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and facility perimimeters to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
- Monitor access points, observe activity, and document security-related incidents in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with facility personnel and/or first responders when appropriate.
Requirements
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A Guard Card/license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Saturday: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
