Security Officer Manufacturing Facility Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Manufacturing Facility Patrol in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with patients, visitors, and staff, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a healthcare manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, and maintain visitor and contractor records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.50 per hour.

Schedule

Part-time. Day shifts: Saturday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Sunday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
