Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as an unarmed driving patrol officer. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Details
- Position Type: Part Time
- Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour
- Schedule: Daytime, Monday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Thursday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and unusual activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity while following access control protocols and checking credentials in accordance with site requirements.
- Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with incident response, and completing required reports related to security-related activities.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
