Security Officer - Manufacturing Facility

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and security-related operations. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor and contractor authorization, maintaining required logs, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and observed conditions in clear, accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
