Security Officer, Lowell

Securitas Security is hiring a Security Officer to work at our corporate site in Lowell, MA We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, and looking for consistent work. As a Security Officer, you’ll help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and the property. Responsibilities include conducting patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and providing a professional security presence throughout your shift. Shift: Friday 7am – 3pm, Saturday & Sunday 11pm-7am, Monday & Tuesday 3pm-11pm. Pay Rate: $22.50/hour Key Responsibilities Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the propertyMonitor surveillance cameras and access control systemsRespond to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situationsEnforce site rules and access control proceduresComplete accurate reports of daily activities and incidentsConduct security checks of doors, windows, gates, and equipmentProvide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractorsWork with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary Qualifications High school diploma or GED requiredPrevious security, military, or law enforcement experience preferredAbility to work weekends and overnight shiftsStrong observation and communication skillsBasic computer skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in stressful situationsReliable and dependable with a strong work ethic Join Securitas and become part of a team that helps make the world a safer place.
