As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and building personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and vendor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain professional interactions with all individuals entering the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs, and communicate relevant security-related information during shift transitions.

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Pay

$19.85 / Hour

Schedule

Part Time. Daytime: Wednesday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Thursday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
