Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Lead Security Officer, you will lead a team in performing a full range of security activities, diligently patrolling campuses and clinics to protect persons, property, and equipment from volatile individuals, unauthorized access, or hazards. Every day you will oversee security operations, patrol assigned buildings (foot/vehicle), identify violations, investigate incidents, respond to alarms/emergency codes, control hospital access, monitor detection systems, support helistop operations, and de-escalate or physically restrain individuals when necessary, meticulously documenting all actions and observations.
- Diligently patrolling campuses and clinics to protect persons, property, and equipment from volatile individuals, unauthorized access, or hazards.
- Oversight of security operations, patrol assigned buildings (foot/vehicle).
- Identify violations, investigate incidents, respond to alarms/emergency codes, control hospital access, monitor detection systems, support helistop operations, and de-escalate or physically restrain individuals when necessary.
- Meticulously document all actions and observations.
Job Requirements
- Required: High School Graduate or equivalent; and Six (6) months experience as security officer in a hospital or healthcare setting, upon hire or Prior law enforcement or military service experience; or Driver's License: NE, upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, within 90 Days
- PREFERRED: One year experience as a security officer: (International Association of Healthcare Security Services (IAHSS) Basic & Advanced courses within 90 days of position appointment.)
