Security Officer Industrial Full Time Patrol

As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol in Clarksville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a data center location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.
• Support access control, report unusual activity, and use technology to document observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while supporting a professional and service-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Able to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
