Job Description
As a Security Officer Incident Reporting in New Century, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery areas in accordance with site procedures, assisting with the orderly flow of authorized personnel and materials.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter, documenting security-related observations and unusual activity.
- Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site contacts, following reporting requirements, and maintaining accurate activity records.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- A condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
