Security Officer (Immediate Hiring)

About the role

The Security Guard position at IPS Security ensures the safety and security of customers, employees, and property through patrols, surveillance monitoring, policy enforcement, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the store premises to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor surveillance footage and respond to security-related incidents or emergencies.
• Enforce store policies and procedures, including theft prevention and loss prevention.
• Aid in the investigation of thefts and other security-related incidents.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience as a security guard or in a related field preferred.
• Standing for long periods and walking long distances.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with security systems and equipment.
• ACTIVE BSIS security guard card required.
• Open availability and willingness to travel to multiple locations required.
