Security Officer II

About the role

Provides a secure and safe environment that allows patients, visitors, physicians, personnel and volunteers to deliver or receive quality services with minimal threats against their personal well-being and property.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor facility premises, observing and reporting suspicious and unauthorized activities and unsafe conditions
• Perform access control and control of keys
• Handle emergency response and notification
• Render assistance and security related services to staff, physicians, patients, and visitors, including monitoring and restraining violent patients
• Investigate and document incidents relative to the facility
• Provide necessary liaison between staff and local law enforcement agencies

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• PSO - Proprietary Private Security Officer certification within 30 days of start date
• 1 year recent relevant experience

• Shift: Evenings
• Full Time
• Shift Hours: 8
• Days of the Week: Variable
• Weekend Requirements: Every Weekend

Pay & Benefits

• Pay Range: $30.35 to $42.48 / hour
