Security Officer II

Provides a secure and safe environment that allows patients, visitors, physicians, personnel and volunteers to deliver or receive quality services with minimal threats against their personal well-being and property.

Responsibilities

• Patrols and monitors facility premises, observing and reporting suspicious and unauthorized activities and unsafe conditions.
• Controls access, manages keys, and responds to emergencies.
• Renders assistance and security-related services to staff, physicians, patients, and visitors, including monitoring and restraining violent patients.
• Investigates and documents incidents relative to the facility and liaises with local law enforcement agencies.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• Proprietary Private Security Officer certification
• One year recent relevant experience

Schedule

• Day, Evening, or Night shifts
• Variable weekend requirements as needed
