About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor alarm panels, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Maintain visitor and contractor logs and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; document observations and complete required reports.

Requirements

  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

  • Knowledge of alarm panels and access control systems.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Computer literacy.
