About the role
Responsible for protecting company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment. Provides security by positioning himself/herself within a building entrance, more specifically, at or near the front desk/check in area. Ensures that all employees and visitors are properly greeted and checked in. Answers questions and directs individuals to the proper locations throughout the facility. Notifies employees of arriving visitors and directs them to meet and escort their guests. Follows proper security protocols by obtaining and issuing proper identification of anyone entering the facility. An AH Security Officer 1 is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors in AH healthcare facilities and corporate locations. This role involves monitoring the premises, preventing unauthorized access, responding to emergencies, and ensuring the enforcement of hospital policies and procedures related to safety and security.
