Security Officer I - Nights

About the role

Under the general guidance of the Security Manager, assist in providing security for patents, employees, visitors and physicians; protects hospital buildings, assets and premise as assigned. Adheres to applicable state laws, follows Hendrick Medical Center’s Policy & Security written job guides approved by the department of Security.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High School or equivalent
• Minimum Work Experience: 2 years relevant experience
• Minimum age: 21 years of age by date of appointment
• Required Licenses/Certifications: Obtain and maintain a Level III Commissioned Security Officers state license from the Private Security Bureau (PSB) within 8 weeks of employment; Ability to pass written and physical PSB course of instruction (obtained within 6 months of employment); A clear and active Texas Driver License; Maintain a clear police record; Ability to pass prescribed course(s) in weapon proficiency
