Security Officer Hospital Visitor Patrol Officer

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a busy public healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.

Requirements

• Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform security-related tasks.

$17.87 - $18.87 / Hour

DayTime: Tue 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM, Wed 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM, Thur 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM, Fri 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
