Security Officer Hospital Unarmed

About the role

As a Security Officer Hospital Unarmed in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare settings. This position requires monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving position that requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points, assist with directing visitors, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation; communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and facility representatives.

Requirements

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• State, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• At least 21 years of age for unarmed role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$17.91 / hour

• Tuesday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wednesday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Saturday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sunday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
