This location follows military grooming standards. NO VISIBLE FACE,HAND,NECK TATTOOS/PIERCINGS. As a Security Officer Hospital Security in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while supporting staff, patients, and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and incident documentation while maintaining a courteous presence in a fast-paced care environment.

Requirements

• Hospital vaccine requirements apply.
• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications for this position include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Skills

• Ability to respond calmly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.
• Knowledge of hospital safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and patrolling.
