As a Security Officer Hospital Morgue Security in Hopewell, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate healthcare personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of restricted areas in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
- Be able to restrain individuals.
- Have at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
