As a Healthcare Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol hospital areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities may include supporting access control, responding to sensitive situations, and working around specialized areas. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations involving patients, visitors, staff, and medical facilities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and designated interior areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific policies and healthcare facility procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities accurately and report concerns to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess one or more years of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• Be willing to work in and/or around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
