Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrols in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, entrances, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and/or entry procedures while helping to support a respectful environment for patients and healthcare teams.
  • Assist with security-related incident response, de-escalation support, and/or coordination with site leadership and first responders as needed, following post orders and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
