About the role
As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Driver in Union City, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare and other industries. This unarmed patrol role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established facility protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to hospital personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
- Assist with maintaining a professional, welcoming environment while documenting incidents, observations, and responses in accordance with site procedures.
Requirements
- Tuberculosis testing and MMR vaccinations are required for COLA DPSS/DHS.
- Hospital vaccinations are required.
- One or more years of law enforcement experience, two or more years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three or more years of security-related experience.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$18.50 per hour.

- Tuesday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Thursday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Sunday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
