Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter zones, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to verify authorized entry and directing individuals according to site protocols and the needs of the healthcare location.
• Support Allied Universal and location personnel during medical-related events, alarms, and/or other critical situations by following post orders and communicating status updates as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Compliance with hospital vaccine requirements is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
