About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location in Santa Rosa, CA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • State, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Tuesday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Saturday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Sunday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
