Security Officer Hospital Patrol Access

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a busy government healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter.

Requirements

  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
  • Licenses and certifications: Subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Skills

  • Customer service skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Patrol and incident response skills.
