Security Officer Hospital Access Control / Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Hospital Access Control in Grove City, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare setting. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role provides exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, patient, and staff access in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals.

Requirements

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Comply with licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

X-ray screening experience is preferred.

$17.00 / hour

Schedule

• Monday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Tuesday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
