About the role

As a Security Officer Hospital Patient Watch in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology, media, and telecommunications work areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, visitor, and incident documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Help support a professional environment by observing and reporting security-related concerns, policy violations, and maintenance issues to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
