As a Part‑Time Security Officer – Hospital Morgue Observation in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare setting, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a caring environment through teamwork, professionalism, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established healthcare facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, direction‑giving, and compliance with facility entry procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Ability to work in a hospital morgue.
• Ability to restrain individuals as needed.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds (preferred).
• Minimum age: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21 years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.45 per hour

Daytime – Wednesday 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM; Saturday 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM
