Security Officer - Hospital Foot Patrol

About the Role

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a healthcare location in Santa Rosa, CA. In this role, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries including Healthcare. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-control procedures in accordance with site requirements
• Document incidents, observations, and interactions accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders

Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Qualifications

• A guard card/license is preferred
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred

Pay

$25.00 / Hour

Schedule

Daytime: Monday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Tuesday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Thursday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
