About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in various industries like Healthcare, you will be part of a dynamic, welcoming, and collaborative workplace. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain access points and help control entry and exit activity in accordance with location protocols, offering directions and assistance while supporting a professional environment.
• Support healthcare operations by observing public areas, waiting spaces, and restricted zones for policy compliance, and communicate clearly with staff and/or first responders when needed.

Requirements

• Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment, as required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment, as required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification.
