Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and perimeter, including patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and other assigned locations.
- Monitor access points and report unauthorized activity, hazards, and other security-related concerns in accordance with location procedures.
- Aid patients, visitors, and staff with directions and security-related needs while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Hospital-required vaccinations are required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be willing and able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
