About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location in Cleveland, OH. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Use strong communication and customer service skills while responding to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Requirements

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Position Type: Full Time
• Day shifts: Tuesday–Friday, 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
