About the role
As a Security Officer Hospital Morgue Escort Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. In this unarmed patrol role at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements, maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess one or more years of security-related experience.
- Be willing to receive required vaccinations for a hospital environment.
- Be willing to work in or near a hospital morgue.
- Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
