About the role
As a Security Officer Hospital Driver in Frankfort, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare and other industries. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, support security-related operations, and provide compassionate customer service in a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials as required, and directing visitors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Ability to work in a hospital morgue.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$17.51 / hour
Schedule
- Monday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Tuesday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
