Join Allied Universal as a Healthcare Security Professional, supporting a dynamic hospital environment through routine patrols, visible presence, and exceptional customer service. You will help to deter security-related incidents, assist with access control, respond to sensitive situations including interactions involving restrained individuals and the morgue, and communicate professionally with patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, access concerns, and requests for assistance.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
