Responsibilities
- Greets guests, provides information, and maintains a safe environment.
- Provides directions and escorts guests in need.
- Assists civil and law enforcement authorities, including testifying in court and other administrative hearings.
- Patrols all sections of the property to identify safety hazards and breaches in security.
- Creates detailed descriptions of lost and found items and incidents.
- Enforces all company policies and procedures.
- Provides first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Maintains attendance guidelines and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of experience in a position involving direct guest interaction.
- Excellent customer and Team Member relations skills.
- Valid LA driver’s license with no suspensions, DUI, or more than 2 moving vehicle violations in the past three years.
- Able to obtain Non-Key LA Gaming License and Responsible Vendor Certification.
- Able to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and adhere to company policies.
- Able to complete eight (8) hours of ASP (baton) training.
- Able to obtain First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Additional Requirements
- Able to physically restrain adults weighing more than 200 pounds.
- Able to perform tasks such as stooping, bending, jumping, twisting, crouching, gripping, carrying heavy loads, and maneuvering quickly on level and uneven surfaces, including up and down stairs.
- Able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds and push or pull up to 150 pounds.
- Able to make rational decisions in handling guest and employee issues.
- Able to remember and provide detailed accounts of incidents and individuals.
- Able to give clear and concise court testimony and write detailed reports.
- Able to respond to visual and auditory cues.
- Able to maintain a professional appearance.
- Able to work in various conditions including high noise levels, bright lights, dust, and areas with secondhand smoke.
