About the role

As a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Bala Cynwyd, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the property and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing activity, verifying access permissions when required, and reporting unusual conditions.
• Support daily residential operations by assisting with routine security-related inquiries, monitoring for property concerns, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or access control issues.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
