Security Officer Healthcare Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Oxford, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas while assisting with access control practices and documenting security-related concerns, incidents, and/or policy violations.
• Support daily operations at the location by communicating clearly with staff and visitors, preparing incident reports, and following post orders for an unarmed patrol assignment.

Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Ability to respond calmly and effectively to incidents and disturbances.
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response activities relevant to a healthcare setting.
• Basic computer skills for accessing and managing security systems.
