Security Officer Healthcare Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer Healthcare Patrol in Englewood, CO. You will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare and other industries.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas, helping to control access, direct foot traffic, and support site personnel with security-related concerns.
• Aid in de-escalating disruptive behavior, providing directions and general assistance, and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders when needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
