Job Description
As a Security Officer Healthcare Location in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding service and communication.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials where required, and support orderly entry and exit in accordance with site-specific protocols.
- Assist with de-escalation, directions, and general assistance for people on site while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns and reporting issues promptly.
Minimum Requirements
- Vaccinations are required for this hospital location.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
